I have a 20 gallon long tank with two 24 watt t5's, zoomed actinic+ultrasun bulbs. I am either going to do a clownfish tank or a seahorse tank and I will automatically do a seahorse tank if I can't have an anemone. If I can have one can you state the care requirements and the species?

    Thanks in advance!!!

anemones wouldn't have sufficient lighting under only 2- 24w, but I would've done a seahorse tank instead of a clownfish anyways so...:)

it sounds like this is a new tank though...so the nem' couldn't even go in for months..

    yeah..

i would set up a sea horse tank, even tho a nem and clown tank is really cool...i think a seahorse build will be different and enjoyable..

I think that an anemone and clown fish tank would be cool but not something you should start with. Start with the seahorse tank and slowly move into the clown tank in 6-8 months. And yes, 6-8 months for the best result! Also i would upgrade the lighting. They would not live very long in 48 watts of light.
