Best of wishes! Sorry not to hijack but my new avatar is my Achilles. shows many reasons why you should have one! :) Black Longnose's are pretty sweet. An Hybrid Achilles is pretty neat to. I forget their actual name. Not as pretty though IMO as Achilles.

Personally to keep it for years a 180 min but I think fish need to swim. I took my pics before feeding time they are beggers so they attack the glass when you come into the room. I love the tang fish. My sons 10 in lion sits there till I put food in the tank. Funny difference between tanks and fish. I am about to see his lion as its to big for his tank to get a smaller on. its 10 in across and stuck in a 92 corner. he also has a moray a grouper and a picaso trigger. then prize possesion is a stars and stripes I brough him home from hawaii.

Oh, good! Glad they have the required room. You don't have any fights between them?

    Happy barbecueing! ;)

I am partial to the achillies as well. I have never actually seen a black tang in person, does your lfs get them in a lot?

Nope nobody actually gets them alot. They are hard to get nowadays. Christmas island only allows the collection of a certain ammount of them so its not that they are rare its they are hard to get. I got my last one for a couple hundred bucks but now im being quoted 500-800 for a small one...... To be honest thay are a cool fish not as good looking as a purple tang but having onefor such a long time make me miss having it. They are very neat fish but no different then a yellow or purple just black.
