Maroons can be decently aggressive... that'd be my only concern.

the maroons going to be a problem due to aggression. I've got a pair of a perc and maroon atm, BUT, i'm expecting the female(maroon) to become a bully. At which point I will seperate them.

So can I pair it with a another maroon? My maroon is not mean at all, he doesn't pick on anyone. My starry blennie rules the tank.

i would get a really tiny maroon though if you were going to do another set of maroons as the single is probably on its way to being a female

Hybrid pairing is very tough. With maroons, even pairing with other maroons is tough though.

At the bottom of this article there is a section on maroons. You may think they are peacful, at least until you put another clown in the tank... just my .02 though :)
