I'm trying a new idea when I plumb this new tank I've started on.
The tank is 150 Gallons. 5x2x2.

Can I plumb my return pump this way? I'd like to tee it at the top of the tank, and then tee it again at each side to help increase flow into the tank.

I hope the diagrams I made up show what I intend.

My goal is to have 4 outlets that are directing flow into the tank from the
    sump.

My return pump is a Reeflo Dart (max 3750 GPH)

It would work no problem. One thing I would add is a ball valve on each side of the bullheaded tee. That way you can control flow to each side. There is potetial for short circuiting when plumbed like this and these two vavles would help you get that under control if it were to occur.

I recommend going large on your return line... say 1.5" or even 2" until you split it. Will allow more flow while being easier on the pump.

The plan was 1.5" from pump outlet to the tee at the top ... and reducing to 1" along the top of the tank ... then reducing the final 4 tees to 3/4" in order to attach some loc line attachements or the flow increasers from aquacave which are also 3/4"

That's an awful lot of flow for a sump IMO. Have you considered going with a smaller pump for the sump/return and using the Dart as a closed loop? Otherwise I like the "manifold" setup. I have a closed loop setup very much like that on my tank...valves are a great idea as the flow will take the easiest path and you'll get more flow at the closet outlet...by using some valves you can tailor the flow where/how you want it.

The sump is 150 gallons ... I don't think it should be too ridiculous.

    At least I hope not

To each his own, LOL! I prefer slower flow through my sumps. My main display is a 125 with about another 100g of sump volume. I only run about 650-700gph on the return after you account for head...I get the rest of my flow from the closed loop.
