    This is good to know. For whatever reason I assumed that the water container would contaminate the water after a day or two. Making weekly trips the LFS for top off water was getting a little old.

    I have a 50 gal drum, we get filled up.. I use at least 5 gal a week for top-off water, etc..
    It's a black plastic drum, never had anything in it.. Water stays good..

    I do keep it sealed when not in use.. and outside.. lol
