Would it be alright to use a MAG 24 on my new AGA 125, Im going to use it to supply both return on the corner overflows. Was going to use a long spray bar as well as two flare nozzles on each return, would the MAG 24 be ok to use?

sounds like it should work for most if not all.

If you already have one I suppose you could use it, but there is no reason to buy one. It is way more pump than you need. Your 2 overflows are going to be 1200 gph max and there is no reason to put 1200 gph through a sump. Lots of wasted power and added heat.

Is all you are going to be supplying is the tank?

Mag 24 would be overkill IMO.

yes, just the tank, id have pumps for everything else the skimmer and everything. I just figured with the hard plumbing and the split to the two returns that there might be some lost pressure. I have a mag 9 on my 90 now and its good pressure but the pumps is right below the return and there is no spray bar and the extra nozzles for the returns either. I figured a mag 18 may be alright since i figured would drop about 400 gph with the split returns gets me to about 700 gph out of each return, which may be ok.

a mag 18 would be fine for the tank but the 24 is going to be overkill. You could always put a ball valve on it and dial it back a bit.
