I'm pretty sure that's an Acan Lord (Acan Lordhowensis). I personally have no experience with acans though. Here's a pic of one from the web. They look identicale except the color pattern. It looks like you don't have high actinic lighting either. So the intensity of the color look different. If you had more actinics it would probably look like this one.

acan lord. One of my most favorite coral! make sure you are feeding it. They love meaty foods. I start mine out with feeding mysis or brine shrimp (target feed) and when they get a little bigger and accept food I go up to krill.

One good thing about acans, is unlike some corals, they do share nutrients. So you dont have to get each polyp to take food.

O wow thanks did not know what I had got it for free so I just took it. Have had it three months and never fed it  but I just gave it a a+plus pellet and watched it eat it like in five min was so cool lol..

So I placed it a up in the tank so I can feed it everyday now thanks guys.

When you say "placed it up", what do you mean by that?

Acan's don't like a whole lot of light, and do best on or near the sandbed. If you moved it up high, it will bleach.

    +1

When I upgraded my lights my Acan was pissed in a matter of days. It now lays happily on the sand.

Awesome looking coral. I always have my acans on the sandbed but I guess it depends on the lighting
