    as for my water params they have been at zero for about 9 days now and ive tested daily

    I would get on the hair algae right away. Be it water chemistry or clean-up crew. Hair algae is ugly and hard to get rid of once established. That would be my #1 concern as of right now.

    yeh its mine to i have a clean up crew of 15 snails and 2 hermits but its just not cutting the cheese so i was hoping a good algae eating fish, i do have a yellow tang in an existing tank maybe worth transfering him?

    Have you found the cause and/or food source for the hair algae yet?

    not yet i have tested for silicates and phosphate but no readings, and i only have 9 hours of lighting with brand new bulbsso a lil bit of a mystery.
