In order be able to play every game with two people, I would recommend two controls and two nunchuks. Also, if you get a game that requires the Wii Motion Plus, make sure to buy two!

most wii games dont need both nunchuck and wii mote, but you should get 2 of each, if you are planning on playin with a friend

I have that system and 2 of each is required for 2 player games that require

some games are turn based, which means one set can be shared
other games require both players participating at same time so 2 sets is ideal

Its great fun, but dont get Brunswick Pro Bowling - none of the characters can bowl straight - why the system thinks you need a hooking ball to pick up a single pin spare, I dont know!

Thanks for the help what is a Wii motion plus? We do not know anything about Wii. How do you know what games need what remote? Does the System come with a nunchuck and a remote? We were thinking about also asking for the Wii buck hunting game with the orange gun would we need two of the guns too? Do you have any ideas on any good games? We were thinking about the Bowling game if it's not good maybe we won't ask for the bowling game. Any help would be great.

Most wii games have a symbol on the back of them that indicates what controllers are needed. If you are looking online, it should say in the description somewhere. I have a wii and would definitely recommend 2 nunchuks and 2 controllers.

    good games

Bass fishing is OK , bit hard to get the hang of if your into real fishing but fun anyway

The WII sports is also good with Tennis, golf, bowling (user friendly bowling) boxing and others I cant remember right now

Mario cart is fun if you get the steering wheel (cheap plastic wheel you put the remote in and you turn it like a real steering wheel to steer)

My eldest son Alan , nearly 8 likes the Spiderman game
My youngest son Ray, 20 months, like the Star Wars light sabre challenge

Tomb raider plays well on it

shooting games - ghost squad and Bio hazard are OK

Resident evil is not as much fun on this as it was on Playstation IMO

Lego - Indiana Jones and Star Wars are 2 games Alan has on his PSP but he likes these also on the Wiii

The Wii Motion Plus is a small enhancement to the Wii remote. It is required for Wii Sports Resort which is a really fun game BTW. Wii SPorts Resort comes with one Motion Plus control. There are a lot of games within Wii Sports Resort and many of them can be played by multiple players sharing one controller. A few would require the purchase of extra Motion Plus control add-ons in order to be able to play head-to-head against another live player. Bottom line is Wii SPorts Resort is a great game, fun for a wide variety of ages and tpes of players. It comes with one Motion Plus and you could get a lot of enjoyment out of the game with just that. If you want to be able to take advantage of all of the multi-player options, then you would need an extra Motion Plus (I think they run about $20). As a side note, I'll bet you that somebody will be running a BLack Friday special that kicks in an extra Motion Plus control with the game. Check the various Wholesale Club Stores (Costco, Sams, BJ's) and you will probably find a good deal on bundles that include things like extra controllers or nunchucks.
