can someone help me (with RO unit)

    I was woundering if someone could help me my Ro unit broke and I have alerge all over my tank. I can't afford a new one now because. I have a new born baby on the way. Does someone have an extra one or could donate one to me I really need one.
    Please send me an email if you could help me. Thank you so much for taking the time of reading this and helping. The tank is the only thong I have and love.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Walmart sells a decent RO/DI water about 85 cents a gallon here.
    Another option may be to use some Phosguard or products containing GFO. Both are easy to find at most local fish stores.
    Also consider some water conditioner if you have to resort to tap until you can get your hands on another unit.

    You might have to buy some water from an lfs, and walmart sounds like a good idea too. I also heard distilled water is okay. Really, the best way to get rid of algae is by reducing phosphates. Do you have a fuge? Do you run gfo?
