This guy came with some really nice live rock i got a couple months ago. He's grown considerably. At least 8 tentacles and 2 small cleaner arms? Seems to "wipe" the mouth in the center with them. No idea what it is! Hoping someone can help...

    Here's a picture:

Hmmm im not sure - im prob wrong but my gut feeling says Sea Star, which are near impossible to keep in the reef due to their fragility.

so im prob wrong if its doing so well in your tank - either way tho it seems its a harmless and pretty filter feeder :)

    Happy reefing!

thats about the best i've been able to come up with..

I can't get pictures of it, but there is a clear, bulbous part that kind of sticks out of the rock. you can see it somewhat when it pulls its legs in. I'm pretty sure that it's part of it's body, but that thought just confuses me more. Like a big, white, almost see-through bubble that seems to be attached.

It's deffo doing very well tho. You could hardly see it when i first noticed, couldn't even tell there was a mouth in the middle of all those legs!

It is a filter feeding cucumber, I have 2 in my tank. If you check on Wetweb under cucumbers they have pics--also it is safe.
