Can someone tell me how to frag a coral?

    Im not sure what the name of the coral is, but it attached itself to my zoas. Luckily They arent stinging each other but its spreading like fire all over my zoas. I have no idea how to frag corals because ive never had to before. Anyway is there a way to remove it without damaging the stalk or the coral its self?? please give me advice im a total newbie to doing this sorta stuff, if you need a picture let me know.

    if you have a picture it would be alot easier to decide how or what to fragment. picture?

    xenias are pretty easy to frag. you can use a razorblade, string, or just plain rip it off the rock xenia, once established is easy as hell

    If you dont remove it all, like leaving some of the stalk behind, it will grow from there again. FYI
