I was ripping off a piece of chaeto for my new refugium and I touched a spaghetti worm by accident.

A little later my finger started to itch and sting and there is a tiny hole in my finger, so it was either the spaghetti worm or something else in the chaeto or live rock.

Whats the best way to get rid of it? I tried washing it, cleaning it with ammonia, and using tape and glue to possibly remove a barb or something that might still be in there.

Yea they can cause a irritation of some sort if you're sensitive to them.

Ever walked thru a mudflat? My legs burn and itch like crazy when I do.

I dont know if what I do is correct
but whenever I experience minor irritations from nicks, scratches or cuts whilst working on my tank - I use Iodine tincture ( purple liquid)
it helps reduce infections and it does stop irritating itches IME

Vinegar could help if you got a spine or something. I hear it can sooth some too, but have no experience.

True. The acidity of Vinegar will help to break down some toxins so it can be tried.
