what are the dimensions of the tank your looking to put this over? I havent heard much good about odyssea fixtures, but have no persona experience with them myself.

a 4' fixture would be a lot better than two 2' ones. if you ran 2 of those over a 55 you might have enough to keep a mushroom alive, or some non photosynthetic corals but there a royal pain.

I definitely would get 4' fixture, 24" bulbs cost about as much as 48" ones, you don't want to have to replace 8 bulbs a year when you could do 4 (or 4 bulbs instead of 2 in this case, although I think 4x 4' bulbs is better for a 55 personally).

Also seconding hearing bad things about Odyssea, you get what you pay for, I would spend a bit more money now and get a higher quality fixture if it were me.

I have this on my 55 and love it. Built in timers and everything.

Current USA Nova SunDial T5 Aquarium Lighting Fixture

Stock bulbs are fine... but are far from the best. I waited to change bulbs out until the 9 month mark (typical recommended interval for changing out T5 bulbs)
