    psuedo or wrasse is my guess.

    Looks similar to some wrasses to me too but there are a huge number of wrasses and on top of that the males and females sometimes have different coloration completely so it may be difficult to ID if that's the case. Is the rest of it's body dark or is that a shadow? If it's a shadow what does the rest of it's body look like?

    EDIT: Just to add, I'm not trying to rule out dottybacks by any means, I just have very little experience with them. :)
