Can you have 3 clowns in one tank??

    I need to know if i can keep 3 false percula clowns on the same tank???
    this is a QT tank BTW.

    Percula clowns may gang up on the weakest one and kill him. They prefer to be in pairs but anything is possible.

    ok.. i just needed to keep the 3 for about 4-6 weeks in that QT. i had a ich breakout and well i cant starve out the ich with fish on it..
    after that period of time, im taking a pair to the DT. leaving one in the QT so that is not fishless. (unless they do pretty good toguether)

    Are they big or small? If they are still young they might do ok for a bit. They will start to fight as the sexually mature.

    they are pretty small to me. (about 2' probably less).

    well people ive done it.... i put them all toguether.. no signs of violence.. YET??

    Granted I have a 220 I have 3 black 2 true percs and a large maroon. They all play nice. They all try to host the same 3 hammers and I think its funny. My wife lover them and has put them all in. I have had no issues. I have seen 8-10 in the 20 gallon display tanks at lfs before.

    There is good product on the market called Kick-Ich that takes care of the ich pretty well. I used it once and it cleared things up in no time.
