I know the picture is not the best (curved glass on 92 gallon corner tank makes it hard to get good focus). Regardless - on Tuesday I noticed the small patch of white crusty material on my live rock and thought it might be some die off or maybe white coraline. Anyway the next day these white oval (egg shaped) particles appeared right next to the white patch. They are about the diameter of a pin head and less than 1/8 of an inch long. As you can see there are several of them. The fish in the tank are ignoring them - should I?

I've looked on-line and can find nothing that looks like a match. If anyone can help me ID these I would greatly appreciate it.

The tank is approximately 3 months old, the live rock (marshall island) that these are on was added ~ 1 month ago and is just begining to develop some very nice red, pink, and lime green coraline growth. I hope this does not turn out to be a problem infestation.

Thanks in advance for any assistance given,
    Dave

I can't tell from your pic.

    Do they look like this?

Nerite snails leave white eggs everywhere...

Of course, you would have to have nerite snails that have an abundant food supply...
