Up for sale or trade is my 120 gallon saltwater tank with 2 built in overflows and black background. There are no cracks or leaks. The frame/stand is very sturdy and built out of steel. Included is a 40 gallon sump, 2 back filters, 48" Odyssea power compact lighting fixture with moonlights (needs actinic bulb). 2 Rio 2100 power heads. E.T.S.S Reef Devil skimmer, plumbing for the overflows, Via Aqua heater. As far as the sand and live rock, there is over 100lbs of live rock and 150lbs of sand. Tank is heavy so bring some help to lift it. Also bring buckets to transport live rock and sand. I will keep everything running so the potential buyer / trader can see that there are no problems. Once I have cash in hand, then I will break it down. Fish are not included..

    tank demensions only L60"x W18"x H25.5"
    tank and stand together L62.5x W19.5"x H62.25"

    Price: $400

That's a great deal. .I would jump on it if that 's the size and you like the cabinet. Needs new lights but still a great deal.

Awesome find. I would upgrade the lights if you are wanting corals in it though.

Is it just me or does that look like a lot less than 100 lbs of rock?
Still a good deal either way, the 40 gal sump can easily be reconfigured to include a refugium and there is plenty of extra space in the stand for storage too.

I say go for it, but you will want to upgrade your lighting.

I say it depends. But mostly no. Overpriced for what it is. You will need to pump at least a grand more into it if you want a reef, too. If you are going for a reef, almost everything needs to be replaced and upgraded.
There is no where near the claimed 100lbs of live rock in that tank, unless the rock is made of uranium. Looks to be about 40lbs of rock to me. Crappy lighting with bulbs that need to be replaced, so that's a big expense, specially since you have to use the crappy oddysea bulbs. 2 rio powerheads, so flow is crappy. Skimmer for a 75 gallon tank, so that needs to be replaced. Your basically paying $400 for a tank, stand, and sump once you really look at everything. Not a good deal at all IMHO.

I agree with Pack on this alot to upgrade also consider that its a 5' tank and buying lighting for it will be a challenge as they are not all that common.

I voted no because like others already mentioned, you will end up replacing most of the equipment and that doesn't look like 100 lbs of rock...now if you could negotiate the price down a bit, nowing that you have to replace a lot of the stuff, it might be a deal. I've seen some really nice 125s on craigslist for less than $300 and that's pretty much what you will be getting out of this deal, unless you try reselling some of the other stuff..

just in general - don't ever actually go along with this. You can give him half and give him the other half after he has broken it down with out scratching or breaking the glass while moving the rock around, etc. otherwise, no deal. for me anyway.
