When I weighed my rock. I had two 32 gallon trash cans full. 250 lbs. So That doesn't really look like 100 lbs but I'm sure different types of rocks have different density.
    Ask if he'll take $300.
    If it's 50lbs it's worth $125 atleast.
That skimmer is rated for 180 gallons... probably worth $70 used...mixed reviews
    Sand maybe $50
    Ask what return pump.
    Sump $30
    Magfloat if included $20
You can sell the lights or just use them if Fish only.
Some extras like heater, plumbing, and power strips.
Look this is not a stellar system and needs upgrades but you're not going to get a really nice light system / sweet skimmer on a used tank setup for $3-400.

Now since you may be thinking I'm going to buy this tank and upgrade this and that you may consider getting a system upwards of $1000 and you'll get a much better deal.
It's an expensive hobby and I would be prepared to spend a lot more than $1000 if you're going to set up a 120 gallon reef properly.

That might be OK for a softie reef, but thats about all I would trust to put in it coral-wise long term as long as you get the bulbs replaced asap and add in a bunch of dry base rock.

Besides whats posted above as long as the tank and stand are in good shape i would go for it... the tank and stand alone are worth a touch more than the what he/she is selling it for..

Keep in mind just my crusty $.02

    BEst of luck..

I say it is a good deal. You will pay more than that just for a tank and stand. New that is. You would still have to upgrade the skimmer and lights and get more rock. I woul probably replace the sand too. You will end up putting an extra $1,000 in the tank but its still cheaper than buying one new.
