    Looks like sponge (some sponges are encrusting). A couple different varieties. the LFS in Tampa used to get the maroon sponge that looks very similar to the patch on your rock.

    I think it is a soft leather coral with some sponge and the brown goo with the little green dots being...I think.. Montipora Undata...thanks to {Nano}Reefer
