I am trying to mount some acropora tortuosa frags and i was wondering if it was safe to gently touch them? I have done some searching on the internet with no real answers. I know your not supposed to let the corals touch each other.

Keep your hands clean and wet and it will be OK.

yes, just keep it to a minimum. sometimes it is hard to press them into whichever adhesive you are using without getting your fingers involved......at least i find it difficult.

yeah i am always freaking out when i have to touch one. Ive been trying to keep these 4 acropora frags from tiping over while i try to acclimate them to my system. I know your supposed to find that sweet spot for the acros and i believe that i have, cause they have great polyp extension and havent turned white or browned out. Just curious because some snails are knocking some of them over and i need to glue them down soon. Do you guys leave them unattached to the reef for any certain amount of time. I was thinking of just using some epoxy to make them stay put, not so much as to permanently bond them to the LR but to keep them put. This way i can move them easily if need be?
    What you think?
