moonlights being bright wont affect anything..my tank is never completely dark..i like bright moonlights because i have a nem and it helps other fish not accidentally rub it

well i didnt realize they were white, it still shouldnt affect anything..my blue ones are bright and never had ill effects..

i never really use my white ones since it doesnt make my corals glow..

yea my fixture came with white and blue..the white are more natural but the blue ones make our corals look bad a## at night..fish dont sleep like we do, they just have there downtime..my percs sleep crazy sometimes, laying on there sides on the sandbed next to there nem or almost upside down in the nem, its really funny..but yea they just need time away from our high powered lights so they can regain the energy for the next day..my blues are pretty bright, i can easily take a pic and you see my corals in my tank, but it doesnt light up my room..

i dont think white moonlights being bright have negative effects either but idk if never been asked this question or heard anyone talking about it..

but i think its good to have your tank lit somewhat so fish cant swim into nems or other aggressive corals that could damage them..

idk maybe one of the pros can chime in for some more input, but i doubt it

well they are beautiful creatures but just give yourself a little more time to get your feet under you..they really are no trouble if you know your tank and give them the right conditions they prefer..

and then spend alot of time on deciding the exact one you want and see if you have everything to house them..

do tons of research about them, i read literally for weeks straight post after post thread after thread forum after forum until i got one..

they wouldnt these bad raps if most people wouldnt rush to get one and then their tank crash..honestly post a thread and ask how many people throughout the day worry about their nem..

my fault for it but its hard not to address that statement..
