I have a colony of candy canes and there are oozing like they do sometimes but they have still not come back out yet. They are starting to look like skeleton's. They are in a 29 gallon tank with compact florescents and great water quality. Can anyone help!

I have candy cane trumpets under my compact fluorescent lights too. They haven't grown much or at all from what I can tell, but I just started dosing the right amount of calcium over the last couple weeks. On the bright side, they haven't seemed to be doing any worse than when I got them either. Can you post a pic? I'm not sure what you mean by they are oozing.

How old are the bulbs? What are those " great water quality " levels? Luna

Is the Caulastrea coral releasing zooxanthellae or is it a case of RTN(Rapid Tissue Nucrosis)?
