OK, been away for a couple of weeks, just got back and my candy cane looks like its a skeleton ?
did the water tests everything is great except calcium is almost nothing and Hardness isnt great.

Did a 50% water change and going to add a calcium "increaser" will the candy cane get better ? Also my anemones also appear to be shrinking, but i am putting that down to the calcium too ?

    Few words of advice ?

Is there a magical way of increasing the calcium quickly ? After the water change the Calcium was sitting at about 300-325

Is there any flesh left on the skeleton?
If so then it can bounce back, if not, it's a goner.

Also they are LPS, not SPS, you may get a better response if you switch it to the LPS forum ;)

Although the corals aren't doing well you don't want to increase the calcium all at once. As you add calcium, it should start to make a recovery- as long as there is still some flesh to Coylee's point.

there is flesh left, just looks very gray and slightly black where the skeleton is coming through, the biggest damage tends to be the outer edge. I currently have moved it from the rocks, and have placed it in the sand, so it was out of the way of anything that might take a nibble

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Make slow corrections, one correction at a time. Nothing you do quickly will have a positive out come. I suspect your pH was way off if your alk was way off, also you magnesium and SG were all off as well. It's a domino effect. The current Ca level is fine a tad low but not worth dosing until you get the whole situation under control with simple water changes with a quality salt mix and double check your values especially the SG and alk.

everything seems great, except the calcium was less than 100, and the hardness had crashed, I am hoping that this will rectify the problems i had.

Looks like the flesh is still there, so it will recover over time.

looks healthier today already, started to look a bit more "plump/filled" and the color appears to be deeper than yesterday, last night i added Fluval Calcium, then at lights out, melted 2 pieces of frozen shrimps with some tank water, placed a cut off bottle over the top of the coral then squirted the food into/onto the coral, and left the bottle on top for 10 mins, when i removed the bottle the excess floated away with the current and fed the fishes.

I am going to get this back and looking great, even if i have to "pet it" the whole time !
