I just noticed this(see pic) today on my candy coral, i swear this happened over night because it looked good yesterday. Anyone know what it is? You can see its on the central right and bottom left of the coral. Havent seen this before.

The clove polyps on the colony are most likely irritating the candy cane coral.

Definitely. The white stringy stuff you see on the candy coral are mesentarial filaments which indicates that the candy cane is trying to fight back.

No corals close enought to sting everything is about a foot away. With the clove polyps being the exception, they were on it when i bought it from my lfs. Just scrape them off i guess?
