    I think I have about 50 or 60lbs of rock in the tank. I also have one of those skimmers & fuge all-in-one deals hanging on the back of my tank.

    I agree with both of them as well; the canister would be not so much of a need with this set up. If you have a good HOB system it can take the place of a suump/fuge like in your case. So I guess I am saying I would just put that money in the bank..
