    As far as size wise, i Run the 405 on a 30 gallon tank and it is prob just a touch to much. It would prob be perfect on a 40 gallon, but any tank bigger than 40 gallon and i would definately do the bigger one - the fx5 i think it is...

    I do believe that they have excellent customer service, its the only filter I have seen that comes with an instructional DVD.
