    Yeh, that's cool. I used that type hood before, you can cut the plastic in the back to allow for the skimmer. I use metal cutters, they seem to do the job.

    I cut the plastic on the back and it wasn't quite enough. I then tried to cut deep into what I thought was either plexi glass or plastic portion of the hood where the light sit on top and cracked it. Turns out that was really glass.;D

    Needless to say I picked up a all glass canopy at lunch time today. It looks like I should be able to just fit in on there backwards setting the leaving one propped up to accomodate the skimmer. If not I'll just take it back and go topless :p until I get better lights.
