    close but doesn't have fins like that and had a blue dot on its head - wish I had a better pic :(

    I hear ya but it definitely doesn't have fins like that either - it is more torpedo shaped and has a face similar to a jawfish - I appreciate all of your help though!!

    Looks like a yellow tilefish to me...Hoplolatilus luteus.
