Can't find my Bangaii Cardinal!!

Hey guys,

So last time I saw my bangaii was two days ago. I checked all the the crevices and caves I could see, and still no cardinal. Levels are good, other (2 clowns) are thriving, Im really concerned for him!

 

I had mine come up missing as well, about six weeks ago. Still nothing, I had a slight increase in ammonia but enough as though it could be the test kit read error. I have a cat and dog so I think it just jumped and the cat ate him.

 

No other pets...unless you count the FW across the room lol. The tank is pre cut acrylic, so there are really only three holes he could have jumped out, and I cant find a body anywhere.

 

Sometimes those bodies are impossible to find. I've lost fish I never found...yay for clean up crews. But sometimes fish just go into hiding for awhile and then come back out.

I hope he reappears and was just feeling secretive for awhile!

 

Thanks! I mean, I do have a great clean up crew- (14 hermits, 2 HUGE hermits, a billion dwarf ceriths, urchin, 2 brittle stars and 1 serpent star)

 

Do you have an overflow it could have gotten trapped in?

 

Nope. Only other place is the in tank skimmer, which has been off for a couple of days, and the clown has gotten into that one, and I just checked and he wasn't there. He's MIA...do you think if he died, my CUC could have dragged him into the rocks?
