Can't get all to read

    So I can't get my alk test kit to read. I have tried a few diff kinds it won't change colors. My calcium is between 450-500 my ph is 8.3. I don't know if that mean my alk should be close or not.any advice would be much appreciated

    Red Sea is what I have right now it is brand new bought it today

    How many ml of reagent did you add to the vial?

    I was about to ask the same question never used a red sea kit seachem is what I use

    I use 5ml of water and and 1 drop of alk solution shake for ten seconds. It never changes to even start color

    I'd take the kit back and replace it

    That's the problem, Alk. specifies 10 ml of water.

    The directions say 5ml
