You need to test ph at one specific time every time you test for it. Your ph will be at its highest right before you turn the lights off. You cant test one day at 12pm and the next day at 5pm, you will get two different readings. Try the experiment that I told you to do.

If you want to know if your air inside your house is good or not, try this experiment. Take a glass of your tank water and place an air pump with a air stone in it for half an hour. Test the ph. Then take the same glass of water and do the same thing outside. Again, test your PH. Tell me what your readings where.

You should get one, they are very cheap and will come in handy one day when the electricity goes out for a couple of days. Those battery operated air pumps are a life saver. Not to mention, you can use it if you ever go out fishing with live bait. Heres a couple of them.................

Id make sure your levels are in order, get a light timer, and once you know your parameters are stable, then add some more bio load...

Look you really do not need to test the Ph at all its will move around all the time get a DKH kit and make sure you have the proper level of carbonates the the Ph will have to be correct at any time of day . Mine is always 7.8 7.9at 7:00 am but by 7:00 pm its at 8.3 you removed the tops and that all you had to do the water with proper levels of carbonates will do the rest What is the DKH or Carbonate or Alkalinity level testing at ??????
