Anyone have any good luck with placement for bow fronts? any pics?

It seems like the bend just makes the flow go all over the place...

I really depends on how your rock work is set up. I have had good luck by placing the powerheads on either side of the tank and pointed at each other. That creates lots of good random flow.

    my flow

I'm trying this I have one on the back and one on the side in ecosmart mode, it's opposite my return also. I thought that way it should mix it up good. I guess time will tell.

This is very good although I suggest aiming the PH parallel to each other to get even more random flow.

On mine, a 36g bow front, I have my return in the center of the back, flowing straight to the front, and then I have a powerhead on each side, angled just off center of the back. If that makes sense lol
