Can't Raise Calcium Level

    well the one thing that is a pain is getting them to balance I would first get your cal where you want it (I keep mine at 450) then get your alk where you want it , but if I remener correctly raising alk by 1 dkh will lower cal by 20 ppm.

    for ex:
    my tank gets to 400 cal I want 450, it takes 281.4 ml for me to raise it then to keep it there I dose 40/ml a day roughly.
    the daily dosing is for keeping it where you want it. getting it there can take allot of supplement.(depending on what you are using).

    also if you want to daily dose I would use a 2 part solution it is allot easier to keep alk and cal in check.

    Yeah i've been trying to not dose anything for alk while im trying to get the calcium up. Thanks for the link, saw it a while back but I gave it another read. Thanks for everyones input and I hope I can get the calcium on the rise and not mess something else up lol. ;D
