    i have microbubbles going into my tank they arnt comig form the return. Do cheap pumps create micro bubbles

    Just about anything leaking air can create microbubbles. I'd turn equipment off for an hour (one piece at a time) to see if you can identify the source of the bubbles.

    a skimmer would be a likely source. do you have a sump?
