    Has anyone had any luck or have ever seen a LTA host a Black clown? Everything I come across tells me Black clown will only host by Carpets and BT.

    What species?

    There are multiple species of clown that sometimes appear in a Black flavor.

    On the same note, clown-anemone relationship guides are really just that - guides. Not all fish/anemones follow the rules. I once saw a Domino Damsel being hosted by a Condylactis anemone...sometimes weird crap happens.

    Nothing special at all. The clowns were paired up for about 9 months before I introduced the nem. The Picasso took to the nem first and about a month later the black clown followed suit.

    My first clowns hosted mine within 20 minutes of adding the anemone. However i switched to black stripped clownfish and it took around 2 weeks before they moved in.
