EDIT - Should be CUP not cap. My spelling (or wishful thinking!) mistake.

I've got a pretty decent size purplish with green mouth cup. Its on about a 7lb piece of live rock with some huge mushrooms around the edges. I'm tearing down the reef tank to make it a grow out tank for Clowns. Any idea what something like this is worth? Pic below with IO hydrometer for size.

    Thanks.

It doesn't look like a montipora cap. It looks more like a cup coral. With the rock, you could probably get anywhere from $60-$100. It really depends on finding the right buyer. Many may not pay that much, another may think it's a great deal.
