I too concur with Matt.  CB or not, I wouldn't mix em.  The bolder black banding is a wild thing, for some reason the band shrinks a little in CB's, and the orange fades a bit (some ORA clowns are pretty damn close to wild looking though).  CB's on the wholesale level, are not as "bullet proof" as wild caught.  They are bred in fully treated water, ie. major UV, ozone, etc, and are pampered.  Wilds on the other hand, are bullet proof in the wholesale handling of them, cept for the more exoticss, which are fairly testy shippers.

Give Morgan Lidster @ www.inlandaquatics.com a shot, he'll probably be able to help you out. He's one of the largest sellers of CB fish around.

Thanks for the info guys! I had pretty much decided not to mix, and only to go with a single pair of mated true percs. I suppose I just hoped it was true since I hate having to choose between percs and maroon clowns, two of my favorite fish.

    Tank-raised, but what is it?

Linking onto an old thread ....
I just got a tank-raised fish from ThatFishPlace. ;D (Yay for me!)
They called it a Fire Clownfish (Anemonefish), but other sources I've found name it a Red Saddle Anemonefish.
Are there two common names for the same fish (Amphiprion ephippium), or are they two different species?

If I can get him to hold still, I'll take a picture and download it.

OK. He's hiding in the anemone, but here he is. You can see that he's dark red, with a darker, almost black, saddle on his back behind his dorsal fin.

My tank is 100% aquacultured. My Live Rock is from a live rock farm in Florida, My corals are all from Welcome to Coral Dynamics, Inc., and my clownfish are captive bread. My goal was to have as close to a 0 impact tank as possible. I think I have gotten pretty close. The tank is really impressive (IMO), and I get lots of compliments on it. For what it is worth :). I am looking at doing a Fish only tank in the coming months, ideally with an artificial reef (Check out Acrylic Aquariums Acrylic Fish Tank Fish Tanks Manufacturing for ideas). Any ideas you all can share on where to get good captive bread fish would be greatly appreciated.
