alpine i know has some. out of all the recievers I've had in the past, alpine had the cleanest sound as well as there amps and subs. be ready to spend some cash though, these type of units are the top end. browse crutchfield.com and then look elsewhere for prices.

Yes, Pioneer makes a good unit I saw at Best Buy, the Alpine unit is good too. Pretty common really, double DIN will probably look the best in dash.

I had the Pioneer AVIC 920 in my truck...but took it out when I rebuilt the dash. It was a nice setup...I got it for like $800 off eBay. I have never used Alpine, but I think you can get the 'same quality' sound out of many other manufacturers at significantly cheaper prices. I run Infinity Kappa Speakers and Amps in my truck with a cheap Clarion deck...sounds great. I have a 7.5" nav in a separate unit built in.

well if you never heard a higher end alpine system, you dont know the clarity your missing.. IMHO i've used alot of brands of recievers over the years. really you can just compare specs.. .THD is one to look at.
