Ok, so i decided after my tank as been setup for 7 weeks, that i want to add carbon and gfo, i bought a tub of Fluval carbon, i rinsed out a good amount and positioned it in the bottom of my filter sock, in a nylon bag of course,
The gfo should i use phosban or phosguard or other, and can i pit it in my reactor, also will it require a certain tumble like bio pellets or does it not matter,
    Thanks

I use phosguard and it does not require tumble, just water flow.....I have it with carbon each in a sock in my HOB filter - I'm not sure that helps you though.....I think GFO requires a certain flow and I'm not sure about phosban.....

Check out BRS videos. I believe they have a video on gfo and carbon.

You want the Phosban/GFO to slowly tumble in the reactor.;)
