Check out the ones on Bulk Reef Supply,I personally don't use one,but have seen countless threads stating that is the prefered brand.

I am only considering one to help clear the water from all the particles seen with the mh's on.. Is there another way to make the water more clear? Not purchasing one right now would be a good thing for my budget...

I don't believe a carbon reactor will give you what you are looking for.

Do you have somewhere to place poly polishing pads? They come in different micron ratings and are good for just removing particals, they just need to be replaced and/or cleaned often.

pardon my ignorance.. What is a poly pad? seems should be common sense but I should ask and not assume.. Once i fiqure out what it is i can answer the space question, however, i should have a little room in the sump depending on the exact size

BTW - just so its stated, the water looks crystal clear with the night lights on.. Its mainly when the mh's are on and could look a little clearer with the actinics on I think...

Filter pad/foam of varying densities to catch bigger or smaller free floating particals. If you have a sump, you can add a filter sock (also available in different micron ratings.)

Are you sure they're not microbubbles? My skimmer lets a tiny ammount in my tank at times making it look like particals floating around.Under actinics,I can't see them either.

So thats something to order or pick up at a LFS or would other local store have it? I understand the filter/pad but not sure if its a aquarium specific pad or something that could be purchased at a hardware store or walmart
