Carbon with Corals

    Is it ok to run carbon with corals? I have all types, soft, LPS and SPS in my tank with carbon in one Phosban reactor and RowaPhos in another Phosban reactor.

    Is that ok? I thought I read somewhere that carbon should not be run with certain corals...is that true?

    It is definitely OK to run carbon with corals especially in a mixed reef with leather corals.

    Yes helps with the chemical warfare between the different types of corals so they dont kill eachother.Make sure you follow the directions for your specific carbon because some are not meant to be run full time and some are poor quality and leach phosphates.

    yea....I run mine 24/7....but I dont think I change it monthly. Uh Oh.
