Sometimes when I suspect something wrong in my reef tank I run carbon for a couple days. I did it maybe twice for a last 3 years. I have Kent Marine Phos Reactor. For a media I use activated carbon and I toss it in my sump wit h Maxi Jet 900 for couple days. My question is what should i do with carbon. Save it for anothr use or throw it into garbage? It is been use just for couple days....

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would dry it and save it. It takes awhile to saturate the surface area of carbon to make it worthless.

It would need to be absolutely sealed, otherwise it's going to absorb anything it can grab out of the air, though. Think of what RODI does to air; carbon will do something similar.
