Any ideas how I could run carbon in my sump with this design?

My bro-in-law runs his in a small bag. He hangs it on the last baffle of the skimmer bubble trap wall. Seems to work pretty good.

You copuld suction a maxi jet to a wall in your return section and hang a reactor in your fuge section. Just a thought.

I'm sure panty hose would work, or a filter sock. I buy the aqua clear carbon its already in bags.

+1, any kind of pantyhose would work fine and is probably your best bet

Well I purchased 2 aqua clear packages of carbon and added them between baffle #1 and #2 of my 3 baffle bubble trap.

That will work - just be sure to rinse it every so often to get the crud off it.

I got the GFO reactor from BRS and put gfo in the bottom and carbon in the top works great was not too expensive either. Never had too much luck with a bag of carbon sitting in the bottom of the sump to me I like the reactor cuz it has to go through the carbon to get back into the system its kinda like a piece of mind for me really. Not saying that bags of carbon dont work just did not get the piece of mind with it either. And its nice cuz its a valve away from being shut off.
