Not only that, but pretty much any business you will apply to will look very highly on your time in the military. This is because of the leadership and organization that is preached in the military. Fits right in to almost any career path you choose. One of my co-workers did 21 years in the Airforce, retired from them, and had been working with us for 15. So he has all the benefits of being retired from the military (pension, healthcare, etc), plus still makes quite a bit of money with us.

Just go knock out all your pre-requisites at a community college. Anything you decide to do will require college level math, and you'll probably have to take a developmental math class or two before you get there, (most people do) English comp1 and 2, and a humanities class like sociology or communications. Most people don't realize that you have to do 1 whole year of college before it even matters what you 'are into'

Choosing right career always not ab easy task. In my point of view everyone should choose their career according to their area of interest.

I have my degree in computer science and worked for a few years in an office as a sw developer. I am now a paramedic and getting my RN because the 9-5 office gig didn't work for me. Luckily my wife makes plenty of money to support my career change and all my hobbies : ) Get a sugar momma! Best career advice you will ever get!

Just do something, by doing nothing you are setting yourself up to fail. I found that doing whatever you can do at the time and putting 100% of yourself into your work is the only way to succeed. If hard work is the key to success then most people would try and pick the lock. Don't be most people and get busy.

Ok so! WOW a lot has happened.

First, a friend who installs floors told me how he is starting his own flooring business, i told him my uncle owns a floor store, if you teach me how to install i can bring us work. So he is just waiting on his liability insurance to go through and then hopefully we will start doing that!

Then! last week i was talking to my older cousin, her and her husband, and talking about going back to community college to finish my automotive degree and then maybe one day starting my own business. SO she just called me and goes, me and dave(her husband) dont have any kids as you know, and if you go back to school and want to start your own business you can have the garage. Its HUGE! Has a big enough door to pull in a tractor trailer. Has more tools then i would ever need. Has air compressor. All kinds of stuff! Just would need a car lift installed. And then i would be set!

WOW! talk about good stuff happening all at once! Now to get my butt back to school! Should probably take a few business classes as well! haha
