    i would take a look at ebay. and i just have a 2 bulb t-5. this winter my tank have never even hit 68. i would recomend t-5

    I have a space restraint. The tank is only 12" X 12". Lol. ::):angry:

    i think i can try and help you find one. otherwise you could always DIY a led light very fun, and cheep

    Show me a low cost LED that would work. lol.

    I looked at CREE, but I don't want to spend that much for this build.

    ya well with that weird size you need you might have to do a diy one, unless you dont want corals. if you dont want then you could try a led light strip. their like 20 dollers i have a link of a tank on RC that uses them but idk if i can post it here

    a simple par 30 bulb would do wonders on a tank that size. no heat either.

    Right now I am not thinking this tank will not hold any corals. I want to simulate the real envirment of the seahorses. The dwarf(or pygmy) primarily lies in sea grass beds of the gulf and central America.

    I like the idea of a rope light, but I can't find one that is of the right color temp. The one above is very blue.
