    there is caroline all over this small rock i have and a little on a big one. will this spread to the glass? other rocks? how long will it take?

    it can take awhile. everything in sw takes time. no rushing

    Depends on some factors, it prefers good quality water with calcium.
    Nutrients that feed nuisance algae inhibit coralline.
    Coralline prefers actinic wavelength lighting it does not like white light.

    Sweet Caroline Ba Ba Da good times never seemed so good.::)

    Coraline now that takes time a few months and you need to seed it with some coraline from a good piece of live rock.

    You'll need appropriate magnesium, alk and, calcium levels.;)
