    This guy isn't living up to his full color potential either I think. He was being fed frozen brine in the pet store:-/ Hopefully the NLS pellets will brighten him up like my clowns. That food is just amazing!

    That stinks about the crash. Hopefully you will have one again! Were they always a bit shy? Mine hides next to the PVC in the QT tank until I lure him out with food.

    Mine didn't hide, but he had a couple of females to show off for.

    I think generally fish will lose their color when they become stressed out by moving from one tank to another to another, regardless of what they are fed.
