I recently moved all of my coral to my other tank because I had a Eunicid Worm in there. I have a carpet anemone in that tank and while I was away today for a few hours it had moved and pretty much laid ontop of a orange ricordea and a small frag of pulsing xenia. I moved the corals and used a turkey baster to blow off the slimey crap the anemone left behind on them. Just parts of the top of the xenia and some of the ricordea look a little messed up. Is there any chance they might make it through this or once a carpet stings coral are they pretty much done for?

Well, you should give it a nice piece of shrimp if it does kill the xenia, it's doing you a big favor there, lol.

I've read that carpets have a worse sting than other anemones. Just from a quick google search idk if there is something worse out there.

LOL! You got some pusling xenia you dont want lol if mine doesn't make it I would be more than glad to take it off your hands.

I just really want the ricordea to pull through it was a nice orange with deep blue around the edges and it was the only one I had unlike the other mushrooms I have multiples of so if one of those died it wouldn't matter :-/

The xenia has opened up as much as it could I guess after being stung and the ricordea looks like nothing happened. They're fine now =)
