    i have a huge green carpet anemone i feed it mysis out of a syrenge, i spray it all over its mouth and its bumps... i only do it once a month....
    its under 55 watts in a 20 gallon....

    just let it be and watch it grow...

    A carpet anemone in a 29g? I've seen these anemones over 2 feet across, which I believe is longer than your tank. I'm sorry to say, but if you move this thing at that size when you need to upgrade you'll probably kill it by ripping the foot because of the weight that it will be. Just a thought.

    Carpets grow anywhere from 18" to 30" depending on which carpet you have.Some are also known as fish eaters and they need T5ho or medal halides. Some keep them well fed to keep them from eating their fish and inverts. This also creates a problem as they will grow fast and quickly out grow your tank. As always this is only my opinion and i'm sure others will add their .02

    I am sorry to say but i must dissagree here. I have seen one in particular strive under VHO's and look great and grow and grow. I think it is a combination of many things that lead to the success or failure.

    Once again as always just my two cents worth.
